Ashton was not ready to work right away but he came in quietly and complained of feeling cold. He needed some time before he was ready to work.

Once ready to work, Ashton requested to start with math first. He did not want to write but was willing to work with staff to compute the answers for his math work.
While working, Ashton said that he has not been mean to anyone today.

He was calmer today and more respectful with his words while working with staff.

Mid-morning, Ashton had a snack and then tried to push his way into a room that he was not allowed to go into. He was asked to leave but he refused. He finally communicated that he wanted to throw his trash away. He would not leave the room until a trash can was brought to him. Ashton then made a good choice to return back to his work space.
Mr. Jason a mentor, brought his dogs, Pearl and Buda, for the students to interact with today. Ashton went outside with the rest of the students and enjoyed the time with the dogs and students and Mr. Jason.
Ashton completed some more work (staff scribed when required sentences) before going home for the day.
