Ashton felt very anxious this morning at the start of the day. He said he could not focus. Ashton was given some time to regroup/regulate before starting his work. Ashton was able to get to work at 10:00. He was given one-on-one assistance to complete his work. Ashton took short breaks as needed and was compliant and completed work.

At 11:30 Ashton became very anxious and he took a break from his work. He started wandering and went into the kitchen where he was not supposed to be. He bothered the students who were eating lunch and pushed to get into another room. Ashton took apart a lego sculpture someone made and stepped on the legos.
Ashton was becoming increasingly upset and aggressive (pushing to get into the room). He was not listening to staff who were trying to calm him. Ashton then got more upset that another student ate the last granola bar. Ashton went to another space with staff to talk and regulate. After conversation and support for regulation, Ashton was able to return to his work area for the last 30 minutes of his day. He talked with staff and moved about his space as needed while he waited for his transportation.
