Philomena has difficulty transitioning to a new task if the previous task is not completed. She did need to be given the direction to put her book and paper aside more than once and a wait period for her to comply. She was not overtly disrespectful but did state that she has to finish before moving on. A discussion was had about schedules and routines and the need to sometimes come back to a task at a later time. if approved by the teacher.
Philomena was able to move on after the discussion and accepted that the assignment was on the schedule to be completed tomorrow.

When given a choice at the end of the day for a bit of free time from her usual choices she asked what I thought she should do. We talked about when given choices
by me at school that either choice she makes is acceptable. She said ok and then made her choice. We will make a choice menu together so that she becomes more comfortable with the idea of making choices in school that are approved by her teacher and acceptable school activities for her to engage in for free time at the end of the day.
