Ashton had a good first half of his day. With 1-1 staff support he completed his work and was compliant and agreeable.
Ashton had breaks with staff of his choice.
At lunch time, Ashton antagonized a new student from the other classroom. He would not allow the student to step into the lunch area to get food. He swore directly at the student several times, refused directions from staff to move out of the way to allow the student and others in. When others were relocated to another room to eat, Ashton pushed his way in a door that a staff was closing and refused to leave that room as well.
Ashton's mom was called to pick him up early from school (noon) due to disruptive and defiant behaviors.
As he was waiting for his mom, Ashton stated that he did not want to go home. He had a calm conversation about his behavior with staff involved but still was not able to admit that his behavior was not acceptable.
