Ashton walked this morning and was happy to see a classmate who has been absent. With support, Ashton worked for an hour after his walk. He requested a break and then refused to return to work (head down). He would not engage in academics for the rest of the morning but he did have a lunch with a peer.

Ashton participated in art class this afternoon. At the beginning of class, Ashton was a bit silly and was talking out trying to get another student off track. Once settled, Ashton listen and engaged in part of the lesson. He answered questions and shared ideas pertaining to the topic. When it was time to work on the assignment, Ashton refused and got agitated when staff encouraged him to start on his work. He was rude to staff and would not follow directions. Since his transportation was due to arrive within 10 minutes at that point he was asked to return to his work space to prepare for dismissal.
