In the morning, Layla had trouble getting on track and staying on task. It took several prompts and support to get her to finish her Math assignment. At one point in the morning, she refused to work and just shut down. After about 30 minutes and a brief talk about feeling over-whelmed, she was able to do a little work and then go to Art class. She was more productive and focused in the afternoon.
