Ashton took a very short walk today because he wasn't dressed for the weather. We understood that he did not want to be out in the cold weather. We reminded him to be sure he is prepared to walk tomorrow and he was agreeable with the discussion.
Ashton attended music class today even though he did not want to. It took Ashton some time to get settled in during music ( some talking out, head down) but once he was used to being in the group he participated a bit and a positive was that he also stayed for the entire lesson.
Ashton was cooperative and worked well with staff this morning after music. He completed his morning work and interacted positively with others. He got a bit frustrated after lunch and went in an area he knows is off limits. He followed directions to return to his space right away with a respectful attitude. With some conversation and support he was able to get back on track to finish the day strong.
