Aiden did not participate in music this morning. He said the music is too loud for him.
Aiden worked on his math independently and then took a break outside. Aiden asked for several walks today and was a little irritated when he had to wait a few minutes for someone to be available to take him (never had to wait more than 5 minutes and sometimes he went right away). At times instead of asking for a walk, Aiden would say, "No one will take me for a walk so I guess I will go by myself." When Aiden was asked who he had asked to go for a walk he said that since everyone is busy they will all just say no.
When Aiden was sitting outside this afternoon he insisted that one of the students said a derogatory name to him. The students were taking a short break and playing basketball in the upper lot with staff supervision. Aiden was upset and was calling up to the upper lot shouting derogatory comments. The other students did not respond/engage. Staff talked with Aiden, and also with the staff and students in the upper lot. Aiden was still agitated. After prompted a few times, Aiden took a walk with staff and the other students returned to class. When he returned from his walk, Aiden was still agitated. His ride arrived 5 minutes after returning from his walk.
