Hunter arrived and greeted staff and a peer. The peer asked him how he is doing he said fine and asked the peer how he is doing.
Hunter got right to work on his math this morning. While working on math Hunter said "I am not doing science today."
He worked with staff to rephrase how to communicate the sentiment. He was assured that although we needed to do science that he would have support and that the lesson was not too long. Hunter chose to do science next to get it done and then took a break. After his break he worked with staff to do some reading. Hunter had 3 -( 5-10 minute) breaks today to help with focus and movement. He had difficulty focusing after 10:15.
He joined other students and had a slice of pizza before leaving today which was a positive incentive for him.
