Hunter came in on time. At first he said leave me alone. But turned it around quickly (within 5 minutes). He put on his Woodland fleece and got to work. Hunter has been asked to complete math in pencil but today he completed his math with a highlighter-we will work on only using the highlighter when locating information during science.
Hunter is becoming less resistant to doing science. He claims he does not like it but through discussions, simplifying information and allowing the use of a highlighter to show the answers to the questions he is more productive.
Hunter complains about reading but he reads a daily article and answers multiple choice questions with support. He takes turns reading aloud with staff.
Staff and Hunter reflect on his day before leaving. He takes a short daily note for Grandma to see right away that indicates his level of participation and cooperation. Grandma also receives the Woodland Daily Report at the end of the day.
