Hunter came to school ready to work. He self-started on some penmanship practice because his grandmother told him he had to improve. He said it was very important that he do as his grandmother requests. He was given some time to work on his penmanship before starting his math. His math work was messy and was only completed with 50% accuracy.
Hunter transitioned into science lessons without needing a break. The lesson was read with Hunter and he highlighted the answers in the text with assistance. Hunter was able to read an ability level reading article and answer questions independently. We celebrated Hunter's sister's birthday today and he was excited to have a piece of cake before leaving for the day. Hunter was given a short note to take to his grandmother regarding his day per his request.
