Good start to the day. Ashton got to work right away and worked for 15 minutes. He then sat for about 30 minutes, he was offered help several times and he said no. He finally accepted help but said he couldn't write and asked if someone would write for him. He had 1-1 support until lunch for assistance in writing. He read all lessons independently and was able to answer verbally in complete sentences.
Ashton participated in art class. He acted silly and was a distraction to others but with prompts and proximity, he was able to settle in to complete part of the assignment. It was a positive that he participated in art class today as this is one he often refused in the past. Ashton followed directions to complete his daily reflection sheet and organize materials before leaving for the day.
