When Aiden arrived at school today he was calm and respectful. He chose a new work space and complied when directed to put on his Woodland fleece. Aiden completed his math assignment and then after 15 minutes he was ready to start on his science. He asked staff a question about his science work and said he understood the directions but did not get started.
Andy came to talk to Aiden this morning.
Aiden had difficulty focusing on work this afternoon. He did not want to start to work after lunch until he talked to Sarge. He was encouraged to get started on work as Sarge would not be arriving for 45 minutes. He could not get started and sat quietly at his desk, wandering a bit and asking about the time.
Staff was able to help Aiden complete two short science charts (labels) while waiting for Sage.
Aiden wandered out of his work space a few times throughout the last hour. of the day He was hungry and requested a sandwich at the end of the day. He had his sandwich and organized his belonging for dismissal. He was a bit impatient waiting for his ride today.
