Eli joined peers and staff for music class. He did not sing or play a musical instrument but he observed and stayed in class for 40/60 minutes. He respectfully asked to leave class when he was becoming overwhelmed with the noise level. He went to his work space and put on noise cancelling headphones.
Eli worked on math after music class. He completed the problems he was able to do but stopped working until staff checked in with him if he got stuck on a problem. He did try to complete the problems he could do on his own before waiting for help.
When Eli is working on science, he puts forth effort but wants 1:1 help for assignment completion. He has some good discussions while working and is becoming more efficient at using the nonfiction text features to locate information.
