Xavien completed his morning assignments on schedule before lunch.
This afternoon he helped to take trash to the garbage and while outside recited a racial comment related to some lyrics. Unfortunately a student thought he was saying the racial comment about him which caused an angry retort. Staff intervened and the students went back to class.
Xavien later told staff that he did not say the comment to the other student but he did say the comment. A discussion was had to not make these comments as they are offensive whether directed specifically at someone or just in conversation. At the end of the day it appeared there was an understanding between both parties.
