Eli needed some time before he was ready to start his day. Today was music class and he has not yet participated in music. Eli put on his noise cancelling headphones and sat in a chair in a quiet area.
In math, Eli is working on two digit times two digit multiplication and needed some instruction to learn the process. He was engaged and had some good questions. After math, Eli requested a break and he was back at work within 10 minutes. Eli then worked on a science assignment with staff. He requested a walk per his schedule and then worked on more science assignments. Eli expressed some frustration because another student interrupted to ask a question occasionally while he was working on science with staff. Eli had some good conversation with staff today. He does not interact with peers at this time other than an occasional one or two work response to questions initiated by other students.
