Max had a good first start to the day. He took a walk and then asked to play the piano before starting his morning work.
When it was time to work, Max avoided starting his morning assignments and was resistant to offers for help from staff. He refused several different options for math work and crumpled his papers. Max said he had a headache and requested to talk to his dad. He talked to his dad and then took some time to sit in the quiet area until it was time for lunch.
After lunch, Max completed 3 science lesson assignments with 1:1 staff assistance. Reminders for refraining from swearing today was necessary throughout the day.
