Philomena is participating in discussions and often asks relevant questions to learn more about a topic.

Philomena was able to talk to me about something that made her feeling anxious today. This was a positive step because she often waits to get home to talk about her day at school and is not yet comfortable talking to me about her day here at school. She does share when I have her take a break that she wants to keep working so that she gets everything completed for the day. We talk about taking a scheduled break, such as during snack time, is good for us and that it is part of the school schedule. She complies but she does not seem to appreciate the value of it at this time.
