Bryce had a difficult day. After his walk, he had difficulty transitioning into academics, even with support. Bryce went outside and came back in angry because he said another student said something negative to him. Staff was outside with the other student and did not hear the comment. Staff talked it through with Bryce and he was working on getting over his frustration. About 15 minutes later, Bryce pushed passed staff and went outside and started yelling at the student. Both students were yelling and making threatening comments to each other. Staff separated the two students but it was difficult for them to walk away from each other. Bryce was the first to walk away with much verbal support/coaching from staff. Breana was in attendance today and helped with Bryce. Bryce asked to talk to dad and was allowed to call him. Bryce had difficulty getting back to baseline but he sat with Breana and did some coloring and had a discussion about the rainbow trout picture he was working on. Breana was able to stay longer than usual today as a support. Dad was later called by Breana to let him know how the rest of Bryce's day went.
