Sawyer took awhile to acclimate into the school routine this morning. He had something to eat for breakfast but we could not walk due to the rain. He wandered a bit and was a distraction to one of the other students when others got started on their assignments. He was a bit defiant the first hour of the day, refusing to start his work even though offered help. He took breaks as needed.
Once he was settled in, Sawyer put forth good effort on his writing this morning. Due to difficulty with focus he was not able to complete all of his work but he was respectful and did what he could.
Sawyer did well during a student presentation the last 40 minutes of the day. He participated and was a good "audience member".
