Bryce was feeling angry when he arrived at school today. He refused to put on his Woodland tee shirt and argued with staff that he can do what he wants. He refused to engage in academics at first He went outside and sat in the fresh air to calm himself. Given time and some space, he was ready to accept help for assignment completion about 30 minutes after he arrived. Bryce had great difficulty focusing and was very unmotivated the first two hours of his day. With much support, breaks and positive reinforcement, he was able to complete math, some word work, and one small section of his reading assignment today. Bryce had a positive attitude by the end of the day and left in a good mood.
