Michael started his day off well. He went on school field trip to Nixon Park in Hartland to play pickle ball. When we arrived we were learning the rules. Michael became agitated when staff redirected him to listen to the directions given as he was a distraction to others. He punched a table and kicked the fence. Staff offered him a walk and he took off without staff. Staff followed to have him in sight. At one point he left the park. Staff brought Michael back to school. Michael was still agitated and was having difficulty turning his day around to a positive focus. Michael's dad came to get him with the plan to help him calm (go to lunch) and return to school if possible. Michael did not come back to school this afternoon.
