Sophie was a bit talkative this morning and needed a little extra time to socialize before starting her morning work. Once started she did a good job working on her math assignment. After math, Sophie worked on a paragraph about the nature hike taken yesterday. She had difficulty following the usual format and spent more time than necessary on her paragraph. She then erased half of what she had written and resisted assistance to focus on the format to complete the assignment. She remained calm and when she accepted help she was able to completed the assignment and then took a short break.
Sophie was a bit quiet during lunch and said she was just tired.
With some support to transition into afternoon assignments, Sophie was focused on worked until dismissal.
