Ashton came to school and was able to state that he was not yet ready to work and needed some time in his space before he could work. He requested to walk a little later instead of walking right away per the schedule. After an hour he wanted to interact with others, having appropriate conversations but not ready to sit at his desk to work. He was offered to work in other areas with preferred staff. Ashton took a walk at 10:30 with Mr. Mc Clane. He was then able to talk about his assignment expectations but only completed one reading text assignment in history before leaving today. Ashton took home the rest of the work to complete for homework.
