| Comments | Layla seemed upset coming in to school. She said she tripped on her skateboard on the way out the door and her foot was sore. She was told to rest her foot (elevate it and offered ice which she said she didn't need). She got to work on her morning assignment. We had music class from 9:00-10:00 today and Layla refused to participate with her head down and eyes closed. She was asked many times to lift her head off the table. Layla was asked to return to her work space and complete some work if she was not going to be respectful in class. Layla left music class, knocked over a light weight wire book shelf and slammed the door. Once she calmed down she apologized and explained that other things were bothering her and she apologized for her behavior and said she let things get the best of her. Layla was able to turn her day around and had a better afternoon. She was helpful and completed some of her afternoon assignments. |
