Sawyer came to school in a positive mood but looked very tired. He started the day off great and started on math and history assignments. The schedule was changed this morning due to a brief birthday celebration for Ms Dianna and Ms Brenda. Sawyer was upset that he was required to go to the celebration and wanted to stay at his desk. He became angry when staff encouraged him to attend for a bit. He went for a walk to the park. He was calm and reflective while at the park. He talked to staff who went to the park to bring him back to school. Sawyer and staff stayed at the park for 20 minutes and then Sawyer asked to go back to school. He was calm when he returned and was able to work through the rest of his assignments.
