Ashton did not complete his homework last night because he did not feel well. When Ashton arrived at school today he said he had a sore throat and was having a bad day. Ashton was able to identify a stress but not able to use a coping strategy other than head down until ready to re-engage.
At 12:10 he started showing signs of agitation (making noise with foot, pushing desk against the wall to make noise) because he had not completed any of his assignments. He asked for help at 12:30 and was able to write one 5 sentence paragraph about Friday's field trip, which was assigned Monday and Tuesday and was still not completed. He asked for assistance to complete the paragraph because he said he was having trouble thinking.
Ashton took home two assignments to complete for homework.
