Comments

Bryce came to school with a positive attitude today. He had some extra apples and lemonade that he wanted to keep in the school refrigerator for the week. I told him that was fine and that we would label it as his. An older student who was in the room said that it might be eaten by someone else in a teasing manner. Bryce did not think that was funny and he made a threatening comment about what would happen if someone would. The student did not like his comment and made him feel uncomfortable. A discussion was had with both students about their comments and making an argument out of the situation.

Bryce acknowledged his part and said he would work with staff to practice other more appropriate comments in similar situations.
Bryce struggled with focus this afternoon and needed a lot of support for assignment completion this afternoon.
