Sage had a headache this morning so she had some pain reliever and rested. She came to school at 10:30 and stayed the rest of the day. Sage got right to work on her math assignment and completed it independently. She did ask a question for clarification on the assignment.
The schedule was different this afternoon as Ms. Jodi came to work with us on sewing projects. At one point it was too noisy and Sage also felt that she was being ignored by Ms. Jodi because she was helping a student who was leaving early for an appointment. Sage sat under the counter and after her mom talked to her Sage went to her quiet work space with her mom. She was able to get back on track and completed some more of her assignments this afternoon. Sage was able to have a conversation about how she was feeling about the problem a little later in the afternoon. She did a good job of communicating the situation and her thoughts about it to me.
