Layla had a good start to her day. After a bit of time to transition to school mode, she got to work with her morning routine and did her math. Ms. Jodi and Mr. Paul brought in some fabric and a sewing machine to teach a sewing project. Layla enjoyed matching colors and shapes for her project. She needed some redirection to stay focused on the project but she asked for help and opinions while selecting her design.
Mr. Jason visited for a short time this afternoon with his dogs which the students enjoy.
With support for focus Layla worked on her history assignments the rest of the afternoon.
