Ashton had difficulty with focus and task completion today.
He took a walk and completed work for 15 minutes. He was off task and dysregulated for 2 hours despite his walk, offer for snack, offer for fresh air, offer of change of work space all of which were rejected. When peers greeted him he growled at them. When a teacher tried to help him do some work he said 3 rude swear words at her at told her to get out of his face. He did not appear to be angry or aggressive but said the swear words to her and then seemed surprised when I had a discussion about it with him.
After lunch Ashton was ready to accept help from staff to complete some of his assignments before leaving for the day He required assignments be scribed today which has not usually been the case very often anymore.
