Bryce was back today after being out sick yesterday. He was a bit quiet coming in but was joking and laughing with the other students after putting his things in his work space. He had positive interactions with staff and students during lunch. Bryce did complain that he still didn't feel well and was mad that he had to come to school. He talked to Ms Dianna because he wanted to call his dad and tell him he didn't want to be at school. Bryce and Ms Dianna talked with Bryce's dad by phone. When he came back to the classroom Bryce was angry and impatient. He did get to work with another student and staff member on a math assignment and a history assignment, which was a positive incentive for him. Bryce did not want to complete any other work and was a bit disruptive with some swearing and wandering and work refusal. He had opportunities for breaks, to rest if he did not feel well, snack and lego time. He threatened to walk home two different times (coat on, back pack) but did not leave the property and went back to his work space within a short amount of time with minimal disturbance.
