Layla had a great start to her day. She came in with a positive attitude and put forth good effort on her math today. Layla had some help to read the lessons in her US history book to keep her on track and to ensure she completed her project work as she was a bit behind on the completion date as she has been sick.
She started out strong and productive this afternoon although mid-afternoon she did walk outside to take a break as she said she was struggling mentally. She was encouraged to let us know and to take a break when she needs to. Layla had a good talk with staff and left in better spirits after having some end of the day time with others as they waited for transportation.
