Ashton took a walk this morning but had difficulty transitioning to work. He talked to peers and paced a bit.
He then completed his morning review packet independently.
Ashton went outside with staff and peer for a short period as he requested fresh air before getting back to work. He then was given permission to wash his hands which requires walking through another classroom to use the bathroom. When he came back he was given an assignment and his assignment paper set up for him to help him get started. Instead of working, Ashton started eating a snack without permission and then wanted to go back through the other classroom to wash his hands. He was offered paper towel, water, hand wipes as he had just been to the bathroom less than 10 minutes before to wash his hands. He pushed passed staff to go out of the room and to the other classroom. He shut the door on staff, swore at staff and disrupted the learning of the students in the classroom. No other work completed today due to off task and noncompliance.

As a result, Ashton was sent home early today.
