Today was the first day of the 2023-2024 school year.
Philomena was a bit quiet upon arrival today. She got to work right away and was more interactive shortly after her day began.

Philomena has difficulty with transitioning to new tasks if she hasn't completely finished an assignment. At times there is a need to repeat the direction with a short wait time before compliance, even if she was given a heads up that a transition will be happening within x amount of minutes. She does comply but it is difficult for her to set unfinished work aside even when reassured that it is ok to finish it at a later designated time.
Philomena had some free time at the end of the day to play a game of cards with staff and another student. She enjoyed picking the game to play and was interactive with staff and classmate.
