Ashton had a meeting this morning so he arrived a bit later than usual today.
He would not take a walk today per the schedule.
He worked with staff on project work and math this morning with a few breaks in between. With one-on-one support for focus and assignment completion, and most of his worked scribed for him, Ashton was compliant.
At 12:15 while working on a diagram he became agitated and left his desk area. Ashton tried to enter a room that is off limits to him so that he could bother the students who were working. When he could not get into the room he postured and said he would kick the door. With staff giving verbal reminders not to kick the door, he redirected. He moved a room divider and went around to the other door to try to get in the same room. When he was unable to get into the room, he left the classroom to go to the other classroom next door. Ms. Dianna talked to Ashton and asked him to go with staff to the kitchen area to meet with her. He refused to go into the kitchen but returned to his work area. Shortly after, Ashton went to the kitchen where behavior was discussed.
