Michael arrived at noon today. (Excused absence in the morning.) He was very slow to start but did manage to get a math sheet completed. He was very agitated and antsy and needed to pace. He was speaking inappropriately and refusing to do his work. When the teacher suggested calling dad, he slammed his hand on the table and stormed out of the classroom. He went outside and started throwing snowballs at her car. He eventually came back inside and wrote a very inappropriate note. After a talk with the teacher, he de-escalated, apologized and was able to get an assignment completed before leaving for the day.
