Sophie was ready to work right away this morning. She participated in her math lesson and completed the assignment. Sophie did not want to transition into the next lesson and started drawing instead. Prompts, and one-on-one staff assistance was needed to help her transition to work instead of drawing.
Sophie had difficulty focusing on work and maintaining a positive attitude this afternoon. She brought up issues that happened at her previous school setting and became agitated. Sophie participated in art class this afternoon and had difficulty transitioning to other activities. With support to focus on positive thoughts and goals, she was able to get back on track and end the day on a positive note.
