Sophie needed some time to acclimate back to the school routine. She had time to talk with other students about the break before starting on assignments. She was respectful and responded to quiet prompts for on task behavior.

Sophie wanted to write her assignments with a combination of markers and pencil. She needed several prompts to use pencil to more efficiently complete assignments as well as following assignment expectations. She needed some time before she was ready to refrain from using markers but she was able to respectfully comply to the directions to use pencil only. Overall positive first day back after the break.
