Hunter had a good start to his day. He greeted staff appropriately when he arrived. He then immediately asked about having tacos for the school lunch today. He was told lessons and assignments first and then tacos. He got started right away on his assignments. He completed math and then a reading comprehension text and questions were completed with support.
Hunter got his tacos earlier than planned but then he refused to engage in his last academic task. He said, I got my tacos and I'm not doing any more work. Hunter was given a 10 minute break outside. He said he needed to be alone. He took of his Woodland uniform, left it in the ground and walked away from the designated outside break area. Staff followed and he returned to his area. Ms. Dianna had a talk with him and he returned to his work. He completed his last assignment and self evaluation sheet before his ride arrived.
