Bryce arrived at school with a loud slam of the door and went into his work space. He sat quietly in his area and did not want to engage in conversation with staff. Bryce fell asleep from 8:45-9:20. When he woke he wandered and was argumentative with staff and peers. He refused several offers of help to complete assignments. He appeared to be irritated but could not communicate his needs. He repeatedly opened and closed a door (loudly), which was a disruption to others. When staff asked him to please stop banging the door he responded with derogatory remarks that involved much swearing. Bryce went to the Hope Center at 10:30 to help set up for the lunch time. He was back at school at 12:00.
Bryce was not able to complete work today. He started a math assignment but did not finish it even though he worked on it with staff in the morning and then in the afternoon (9 basic division problems). He completed 7 out of the 9 problems before he left today. Bryce got outside the last hour of the day and threw the football with two of his peers. He had some brief, positive interactions with them before leaving for the day.
