Eli arrived and went to sit at his desk. He responded to staff when greeted. Staff asked him to start the first math problem on his sheet. When staff stepped away to get a marker, Eli went to another chair and put his hat over his eyes to sleep.
He was given the direction to come back to his desk for math but he said he was very tired and needed some time. After 15 minutes, Eli was back to his desk to work. It took him awhile to feel alert enough to focus.
Eli put forth good effort the rest of the morning to complete assignments.
