Ashton does not yet seem to be feeling his best. When he arrives he is in good spirits and cooperative for about the first 75 minutes. He then becomes tired and easily agitated.
Ashton did complete his morning packet (15 minutes) and then read the assigned science material. He did not complete the written portion of the science assignment (minimal writing as it was matching and fill in the blank format) even with prompts, offer to assist and more than an hour to complete. Ashton did not complete his math assignment today.
He did participate in a group with three other students for discussion with a mentor who meets with them two Thursdays a month. Ashton looks forward to the group time but has difficulty transitioning back to routine after the group. At the end of his day he was rude and swore at a student who was passing his desk with a teacher standing near his desk. He swore at the student and told her to get our of his area. He then slammed his text book (loudly) on his desk several times. He dismissed shortly after.
