Hunter was very tired due to a challenging day of appointments yesterday and very little sleep last night. At first he was very crabby and short tempered with staff. With active listening, encouragement and time for him to reset, he had a good conversation and self-advocated for a math assignment.
Hunter worked on the assignment and accepted a small bit of instruction from staff to get him started. He completed the assignment. Sadie came to school today and talked with Hunter and Ms. Maureen about organizing his work space with visuals she had made for school.
Hunter had very low stamina due to his tiredness and he went to the quiet space to rest.
Hunter went home about a half hour early today.
