Bryce had a good start to his day. He did a good job of working on a math assignment independently. Bryce went on a nature walk with staff and a peer and he was cooperative and patient. He was resistant to completing a writing assignment which required completing a graphic organizer but with assistance he completed a modified version.
After lunch, Bryce was working with his teacher and another student on a reading assignment. He was swearing about not wanting to do the assignment. When a student laughed Bryce got angry and walked away. He then returned and started verbally threatening the student and would not step away. He continued to shout at the student. Bryce then went with staff to talk and express his emotions. He took a walk with staff to calm himself which helped him feel more in control.
