Layla struggled to get started on work and was easily distracted. She needed prompts and staff supervision to complete her morning assignments.
Layla upset another student with a comment during lunch but she didn't understand why her comment hurt the other girl. A discussion was had and apologies were given with support from staff.
After lunch and a walk this afternoon, Layla was more focused and was able to complete most of her assignments before leaving at the end of the day.
