After his walk this morning, Ashton needed some time to socialize (15 minutes) before he was able to get started on his assignments. He worked with Ms Gayle on a field trip write-up and independently organized some of his photographs from previous field trips.
During the lunch hour, Ashton was feeling overwhelmed and anxious due to the conversations and activity. He had a good discussion with staff regarding how he was feeling and was respectful of suggestions. Even after the room was quiet after lunch he was having difficulty regulating and respectfully asked if he could go home 40 minutes early with his assignments.
