Sage had a good day today. She completed all assignments sent home when she was ill. Sage got right to work this morning even before the official 8:00 start time. Sage had a positive attitude while completing math. During reading she had an assigned book to read (Magic Tree House-Civil War on Sunday). She did not want to read it because she does not like to read about wars. She walked away from the lesson while I was talking to her. At first she ignored me and went to her mom. Sage's mom told her it was part of her history we are learning about and was an assigned book and was not an option. Sage returned to the lesson and completed the assignments for the book. Sage had a positive attitude the rest of the day. She completed all work and had a bit of free time with another student before leaving for a social skills group this afternoon at 1:45.
