Ashton took a walk this morning.
When he returned he said he was having a bad day. He did not complete work today. At 11:00 he insisted that I call his mom to come get him. He was disrespectful to staff and insisted he have his phone if his mom was not called. Staff did talk to mom and let her know that he wanted to go home but he stayed as he only had 90 minutes left of his day. At lunch time Ashton mingled with the other students but made some inappropriate comments about other students (racial comments) and was disrespectful to a staff member thinking it was funny in front of the other students. Ashton was asked to return to his work space. He had a good conversation with Ms Dianna while at his desk. He was calm the rest of the day until his ride arrived. Today's assignments were sent home with Ashton.
