Bryce arrived in a good mood. He ate lunch with the class and then spent some time with the boys during their lunch time (10 minutes). Two students from the other classroom took teasing each other too far and a verbal disagreement occurred. Bryce felt the need to intervene, even though several staff members were on it and he was instructed not to get involved-return to his area. Bryce was angry because he felt his friend was being disrespected. Bryce returned to his space and with conversation and diversion, Bryce was regulated and ready to work. He was reset, productive and cooperative the rest of the afternoon.
